I just need to thank you for the site. I had a mastectomy 12 days ago for breast cancer and then suddenly my husband's mother died 3 days ago. He had to fly to Northern California and I had to be left due to postsurgery condition. They were saying the rosary today for her at 3:00pm and I so wanted to be there.I was born and raised Catholic but wasn't sure I remembered the words for the Roasary that I was going to say at home, the same time they would be saying the one for mom in No. Cal. Frank Dodson, Secretary.A member of the Knights of St Columba (KSC) for some 40 years. Just come across your excellent site. Dropped by to say hi to all Brother Knights in USA. If I had known this was here earlier I could have found a Council in Florida to visit while my wife and I were there recently As it was we visited Our Saviour Church in Cocoa Beach and St Brendans in Clearwater. Our main purpose in visiting was to see a Shuttle Launch at Cape Canaveral where despite extending our stay thru two postponements we eventually had to return home, at which point the Shuttle was Launched! Council 173 has had membership problems from time to time but I am glad to say the Council is now strong and in good spirits. God Bless.

Knightsite has a new online searchable database. Brother Knights can get an instant user name and password so that they can enter their E-mail address and Council web URL. They can update their entry at a later date as needed by using there user name and password. This looks like it might be a useful tool for our Order.

Fern Cloutier, PGK, PFN. Each time I visit the site, I am so impressed that I get lost in the so many sites there are to see. Through the Angel site the other day I ended up in Cajun Country which described the immigration of the Acadian Canadian people who were instrumental in forming the Cajun language. I provided my comments and requested someone to reply by Email. I haven t receive anything yet. Like I said the site is so complicated that I can t find my way back to it. Anyway the K of C site is great and I go into it all the time.

Gerard Peterson, Grand Knight C.2048/FAdm A.637 Have been really interested in reviewing our council files and membership records. Am trying to update/renew Form 100's for all our members. Have found through the years that some 1st degree knights have mistakingly received 3rd degree membership cards due to poor record keeping. I am about 60% complete with the project of correcting the F-100's so that all knights receive their year 2000 cards as correctly as possible. The journey is somewhat difficult as many members have forgotten when they took particular degrees, but with time I hope to get up-to-date records to pass on to the next GK. Our council elects new GK's every year, and straightening out the files barely gets started when another new set of officers take over. I actually enjoy reviewing the records, since we rarely have 10% of the total membership attend meetings. I have been able to see a good cross-section of the overall council. Thank You for having this site, as it allows me access to Supreme and ideas for upcoming newsletters as well as broadening my own Knights of Coilumbus perspectives.
