Canada's Jay Zimmerman
is one of a small group of Brother
Knights considered to be the earliest and most productive K of C Internet
Pioneers.
Jay is credited with many K of C
Internet "firsts" including publishing the very FIRST Canadian K of C Website on the Internet's World Wide Web.
Jay published Langford Council's website in April of 1995. This website is said
to be the first K of C website in British Columbia and the first K of C website
in all of Canada. In October 1995 Jay added several state-of-the-art features to
the Langford website. He is said to have published the first K of C council
sponsored Chat Page and the first K of C council sponsored Message Board. He
started his "world famous" K of C E-mail Directory at this time as
well. As a result of Jay's vision and skill as a webmaster, our Order continues
to maintain a strong online presence benefiting Brothers Knights throughout the world.
Jay continues to be the
webmaster for Langford Council in British Columbia. At this moment Jay is
preparing another major upgrade for his council's website. We can't wait
to see what improvements he's made this time. You can have a look for yourself
as soon as it is ready.
