Missouri State Council's Dan Lowe was responsible for the creation of the K of C Daily Xpress website. Dan's website was selected to be Knightsite's 2001 Website of the Year for several reasons. Dan created a well-organized, informative, well-constructed, online, daily K of C news website. It was originally created as a news source for Missouri State only but it became so popular that Dan expanded it. He received all types of K of C news from councils via E-mail. He also created a network of Brother Knights in strategic places throughout the country to volunteer as K of C news reporters. The ideals of our Order, especially unity and fraternity, were demonstrated on a daily basis. It was a living example of how a group of Brother Knights, many of whom had never met in person, could work together as a team to help make something wonderful. Unfortunately, the K of C Daily Xpress website is no longer online. Dan had to give up the Xpress website when he became a Missouri State Council Officer. Many of those who have visited his award-winning website hope that he will put it back online sometime in the near future.
